I’m sharing all about our Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring from the Provenza Moda Living Collection!
Our remodel is winding down for now and it feels so good to have a clean house again! We moved into this house at the end of June 2020, and since then have been demoing and moving walls and plumbing and electricity and installing cabinets and tile and painting walls and trim… It has been exhausting and chaotic but so worth it!
This house has changed so much in the past 5 months. It is so strange looking back at photos from when we moved in. It feels so long ago some how! I just feel so at home here and am so happy with how everything has turned out!
One of the biggest areas we updated, was all of the flooring in the main living spaces! When we moved in there was a mix of tile and carpet throughout the main living spaces and up the stairs.
Because we took down walls and reconfigured our Kitchen layout, we had to replace the flooring in that area. We quickly decided it would be best to replace all of the flooring throughout the main areas at the same time – Living Room, Family Room, Office, Halls, Stairs.
We wanted the flooring to flow throughout the spaces to create a cohesive open look. Also, having to kids and two dogs, we wanted something that was very durable and easy to clean.
After days of research, we decided on Provenza Waterproof LVP Flooring from their Moda Living Collection.
Today I’m sharing my detailed Provenza Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) Flooring Review! I’ll discuss the pros and cons of LVP flooring, why and how we selected it, how to care for it, and my overall thoughts on our Provenza Floors!
This is a sponsored post for Provenza Floors. All opinions are my own. See our Disclosure here.
Vinyl Plank Flooring Pros and Cons & Why We Chose LVP
There are many advantages to Vinyl Plank flooring! When researching flooring options, we considered solid and engineered hardwood floors, laminate flooring, and Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) flooring.
While I love the look of real hardwood floors, I was nervous about the durability of them, having two toddlers and two dogs. Hardwood floors are an investment and at this stage in our life I knew it wouldn’t be a smart decision. I don’t want to be worrying all the time about the kids dropping toys or the dog’s nails scratching the floors.
That meant deciding between laminate flooring and LVP Flooring. Both of these options are very similar overall. Sometimes when deciding between laminate and LVP flooring it comes down to finding a color and finish that you love.
Vinyl vs. Laminate Flooring
The main difference between LVP and Laminate flooring are the materials used and the construction of them. Vinyl Planks are made from a synthetic material. Most LVP floors have a multi-layer PVC vinyl core and are at least 5mm thick.
Laminate floor cores are made from wood byproducts bonded with resin, and the top layer is a transparent plastic that protects the printed design layer.
The difference in materials used, typically means that vinyl floors are better suited for areas exposed to water. Because laminate floors are made with a wood byproduct, they can warp when exposed to water.
Vinyl Floors are typically 100% water proof, making them perfect for bathrooms, mudrooms and kitchens.
Durability & Maintenance
The main reason we chose LVP flooring is because it is so durable and easy to maintain! Vinyl Plank Flooring is basically scratch and dent proof because the layers are so strong. This makes it the perfect flooring choice for families with small children or dogs!
Also, as mentioned above, since vinyl flooring is waterproof, it is so easy to clean. You can use a mop without worrying about water damage.
I’d say the main “con” to Vinyl Flooring is it can be hard to repair or replace a damaged plank. Since it is installed with a click and lock system, you would have to disassemble the planks from the wall to the damaged plank, and then reassemble. It’s not impossible to repair, but definitely harder than sanding and repairing a wood floor.
Design
Vinyl flooring has come a long way! The old style of sheet vinyl was much thinner and less realistic looking than the new Luxury Vinyl Plank options. Because the planks are thicker, there are now more options with realistic wood grain textures. You can even find options that have a hand scraped or distressed look.
There are also soooo many color and finish options to choose from! Because it is a man-made material, you can find almost any color or texture you are looking for.
Affordability
Another reason we chose LVP flooring over hardwood floors is because it is much more affordable! On average LVP flooring is about $3-5 per square foot, and then about $1-3 per square foot for installation. Hardwood floors can easily be 2-3 times more expensive!
Since we were replacing a large area of flooring (about 1500 square feet) the price was an important deciding factor.
Provenza Vinyl Plank (LVP) Flooring Review
Samples and Ordering
The ordering process with Provenza was very simple. We ended up ordering about 10% more than we needed, just in case anything went wrong. But, we had very little material waste and didn’t use any of the extra flooring.
Deciding on a color, however, was the hardest part! Provenza has SO MANY great color options to choose from! They have helpful photos and videos on their website, but it is always best to see the options in person.
I knew I wanted something like a light white oak. Not too rustic, not too gray. They were able to send me free samples, which helped me narrow it down, but I still couldn’t decide between a few different options – Sweet Talker, At Ease, and Road Trip.
You can search for a retailer through their website, so I did that to find a showroom close to me to see larger samples. I was able to bring a few home with me which helped so much!
The below photo shows At Ease (left) and Road Trip (right).
I really loved Road Trip in person; it was slightly warmer than At Ease and less rustic looking. But I like the contrast and depth that shows up in pictures with At Ease.
To see more about my decision process and a closer look at all of the samples, check out my “Flooring” story highlight on our Instagram page.
Installation
The “demo” phase was definitely my least favorite part of our remodel! Everything was so dusty and I couldn’t wait to get the floors in!
Once we removed the old flooring and carpet nails, we used a huge floor grinder to sand down the remaining tile grout and make sure the floors were level. That was the hardest part of the flooring install! Mainly because it was so dusty.
Once the floors were smooth, the flooring install process was very simple!
We chose to run the flooring so that it was parallel to the stairs. Once the first few rows of flooring were established, and perfectly level and straight, the rest of the room went in pretty quickly.
This Provenza LVP Flooring is so easy to install because it is a floating floor system. The planks feature Provenza’s Uniclic locking system and easily snap together. No glue or nails are needed!
The planks also have an underlayment included, so you don’t need to install that separately. This was a huge help during installation! The underlayment also makes the floors softer and more comfortable to walk on, and helps with acoustics.
You can find step by step instructions to install this flooring here!
Cleaning and Care
Once the floors were installed, I couldn’t wait to clean them! (Our house was seriously so dusty for weeks!!)
This Provenza MaxCore LVP Flooring is 100% waterproof and so easy to clean! I typically just use white vinegar, lemon essential oil, and water to mop it, but you can really use almost anything because it is so durable.
Provenza LVP Flooring at Stairs
Once the flooring was installed our house felt so much more complete! I’m also so glad that we were able to install it all throughout the main living spaces, and up the stairs.
I decided to paint the stair risers white to add some depth and love how it turned out. A few people have asked me if I recommend wood stairs over carpet with kids and pets. My kids (4 and 2) haven’t really had an issue with them, but we have an older dog that was afraid to go up them.
We ended up using some clear grippy tape (has a sandpaper like texture) at the edge of the stairs and it works really well. You can easily remove it without damaging the floors, and you can barely see it.
We used the Provenza flush stair nose and I love the seamless look. The color and texture of the stair nose pieces also very closely match the floor planks.
Overall Provenza Vinyl Flooring Review
We’ve had our Provenza LVP Flooring installed now for about 4 months and love them!
They are durable and beautiful! We’ve received so many complements on them. I love the look and feel of real hardwood floors, but with two small dogs, and two toddlers, I knew we needed something that was waterproof and durable.
These floors are as indestructible as you can get! They have had so many hard objects dropped on them and I haven’t seen a single scratch or dent.
They are also 100% waterproof so I don’t have to worry about what to clean them with, or anything spilling on them.
I also really like the small bevel between the planks, and the wood-like texture on the flooring. They look so realistic!
They have a nice matte sheen, not shiny or glossy at all. The texture also gives them some grip and they are not very slippery; which is great as we have kids and dogs running around all the time.
I am so happy with the color that we selected, AT EASE. It is the perfect light oak color. There is a hint of gray, but it doesn’t feel too cool, and has a nice grain pattern. It is not too rustic, but adds a perfect amount of depth and contrast.
Overall I’m absolutely in love with our new floors! I hope this Provenza Vinyl Flooring Review was helpful!

I am getting ready to put new flooring in and this has been so helpful! Found a showroom near me, I’m going to get some samples.
Thank you so much!

I’m so glad this post was helpful! Let me know if you have any questions! We love our floors!
Leah says
I need help! I have been looking at Provenza flooring for weeks now. I first found a blog about First Crush but it looked nothing like the pictures. I have a whole box of At Ease but it’s so much darker than your pics! I’ve also looked at Sweet Talker but don’t love the variation and Road Trip. Would you be willing to send me some pictures of your flooring with no touch up in them? I am driving myself crazy lol. I have looked at other flooring but none look as realistic as Provenza, but I just want to be sure on the color. Thanks for any help or tips!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! Yes if you would like to send me a DM on Instagram I can send you some photos! I’m @sprucingup.mamahood
Kristina Lewis says
Hi there, if you don’t use your box of At Ease, id love to buy it from you as I’m trying to decide to!
Kassie S. says
Thanks so much for this post! I’m having At Ease installed and am having a hard time finding a cabinet stain I like with it. Do you mind me asking what color your stain is and brand of stain?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! Details about our Kitchen cabinets are in this post – https://sprucingupmamahood.com/1970s-kitchen-remodel-before-and-after/ The cabinets are white oak with a light/pickled stain from Schroll Cabinets. I also have details about the stain we used on our stair railing at the bottom of this post – https://sprucingupmamahood.com/diy-stair-risers-with-wallpaper/ I hope that helps!
Kate says
Thank you! You’re floor looks gorgeous. I’m deciding now between Road Trip and At Ease!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Thank you! I loved road trip! The only reason we didn’t get it is because it was back ordered! But I feel like it was meant to be because I really love At Ease. It has more contrast and I love how it can pull warmer or more gray depending on your furniture/paint!
Lauren Andrews says
I love these photos of At Ease! I found them because I’m in the market for Provenza, but I have to ask, are your photos warmed up at all? The sample I have of At Ease looks much cooler than in your home. I need the warmer color so I’m sad it’s not matching yours!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! The photos on this post are only brightened a little, to try to keep them as close as possible! However, I have noticed that the floors look a little warmer in photos than they do in person. I do feel that overall the At Ease floors don’t feel too gray or cool though! I think they are a perfect mix because they pull warmer if you have warmer colors in the room, and can pull more gray if you put gray colors around them. Road Trip was a little bit warmer, if you can get a sample of that! Or Sweet Talker is a popular one too but it was a little too dark for me.
Also try to get a few sample pieces, or a large sample board from a flooring showroom if you can! There is a lot of variation from piece to piece so it helps to see a larger sample!
Hope that helps!
Dani says
I literally am about to order this exact flooring, color and all. Hopefully you can answer this question:) I am going back and forth between end caps on my stairs or doing the flush bullnose in the LVP but were you able to get the bull nose in AT EASE?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! We did use the flush bullnose in At Ease and love how they turned out!
Peggy Upton says
Hi! Everything about your floors and remodel is perfection! Do you know if a stair runner can be stapled/nailed into the stair nose of Provenza products?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Thank you! Yes I’m sure it could! We had to nail through them (with a nail gun) to install our built in banquette and it worked great.
Holly says
Was it the Flush stair nose? Did you glue all the stairs down? My understanding is that with the floating floor, they recommend the other stair nose that sits up just a touch because it lays over the floating flooring a bit. I would like to avoid that and use the tongue and groove flush nose, so the nose sits evenly with the tread. If we could glue all the step flooring down, that would help.
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! Yes we used the flush stair nose and I love how seamless it is and blends in with the floor planks. We did glue the planks on the steps down too!
Monica says
Hi! Your place looks amazing! I was so happy to read your review because we are about to put in the same flooring. I have a question, did you use a stain on your kitchen island and if so do you mind sharing what color? That’s the tricking part I’m stuck on right now.
Thanks!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi, thank you so much! Our Kitchen island is a stained wood. We bought the cabinets from Schroll Cabinets and the stain color is called Draught. It’s like a light white washed pickled oak! https://schrollcabinets.com/white-oak/
Jessica Berry says
Can you tell me the name of your kitchen countertops?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
They are Arabescato from Pental Quartz
Erica says
How much money was her LVP a square ft.?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi, it was around $4/SF, and that includes the attached underlayment padding!
Heather says
Can you share where you purchased it for this price? Lowest price I can find is $5.99/sq ft😕 our kitchen flooded and this is more than we can spend due to our insurance allotment. I love this floor, it’s perfect!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! I actually purchased our floors directly from Provenza, but I did receive a quote from a local showroom (Total Floors in Denver, CO) for a little under $4/sf. I think that did include a trade discount, but I’m pretty sure the retail cost was not much higher. Still around $4/SF. I wonder if they have raised their prices since? I would try to ask around a get a few quotes!
Heather says
Thank you! Did you just call the phone number on their website and you could order direct?
Stefanie says
Hi, first of all thank you for your post! I love the white wall and trim color you show in the entry. Can you share the colors you used?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Thanks so much! The walls are SW Alabaster and the trim is accessible beige! I love the combo!
Gabby says
I love this whole look! Just wondering, what color did you paint your ceilings?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Thank you! The ceilings are Sherwin Williams Pure White
Jess says
this was so helpful. I brought home at ease today and wanted a white oak feel for our new home. It was nice to see it in your space! Can I ask how you matched your island? Is it stained or a certain cabinet color? Thank you!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Thank you! We really love it! We had actually selected the finish at the island before selecting the floors. I ordered probably 10-15 different floor samples and compared them to the island finish.
Kim says
Absolutely beautiful! Very helpful information. Can you tell me were you able to install your cabinets on top of your At Ease LVP?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Thank you! And yes we did install the cabinets on top of it!
Julie says
Hi! Love this look! I wanted to ask about the stairs-specifically the railing. Did you stain the handrails and newel post or did you purchased them somewhere? It goes so well with the color of the floor (we just purchase At Ease). What about the balusters. Are those wood or metal? If wood, did you paint? Many thanks!!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! Thank you!! We did stain them! I actually wrote all about it in my blog post about my stairs that was just published today if you want to check that out!
https://sprucingupmamahood.com/diy-stair-risers-with-wallpaper/
Peggy says
My husband is a noise freak and is worried about the sound of vinyl. Do you find it to be hollow and do your dogs’ toenails “click” on it?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
I haven’t noticed that issue! There is an attached underlayment on the planks so I think that helps with the noise. I can hear my dog’s nails on the floor but I don’t think its any worse/different than wood floors would be. Hope that helps!
Brandy says
Can you share the brand of your kitchen floating shelves?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi, we purchased them through our cabinet company! All of the info is here: https://sprucingupmamahood.com/1970s-kitchen-remodel-before-and-after/
Kim Morris says
How scratch resistant are these floors to big dogs?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
We have one small/medium dog (used to have two) and they haven’t scratched at all! Also my boys are much harder on the floors than the dogs are and they haven’t scratched them either! They have been very durable, which is why we chose LVP over real hardwood at this time in our lives.
MaryAnn says
I love your floors. So, I went to a Provenza dealer, and they change the names! I’m depressed! How do I get a real sample of Provenza because they don’t deal with the public.
Any advice? Thank you.
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! Are you saying they changed the color names? Have you tried contacting Provenza directly?
Cory Castro says
Hi
What color are your cabinets
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi, all of the info on the kitchen cabinets can be found in this post! https://sprucingupmamahood.com/1970s-kitchen-remodel-before-and-after/
Wendy says
Thank you for the review. Your home looks beautiful and we are just starting on this remodel, so your block is very helpful. May I ask, what countertop sample is that with the gray and gold?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Thank you! That sample was a calacatta gold quartz from Pental Quartz. I’m not sure if they carry it anymore.
Wendy says
One more question. Our builder keeps telling us that the luxury vinyl will look amazing and that it’s come so far. We haven’t seen anything, in large scale, in-person but it’s hard to picture and we don’t want the home to feel like a cafe or barbershop with high tread, cheaper floors. Do you feel like they look classy in person?
We have no pets, but have a ton of snow annually and keeping the floors dry is our biggest concern with real wood…we just don’t want to regret saving on flooring that won’t look as good. Real thoughts please!! Thank you.
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Yes I feel like they look and feel very realistic in person! We’ve received so many compliments on them! And I love how durable they are.
Cindy says
I didn’t understand what you said about the sticky tape on the stairs. What was that about please?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! The tape is to add some traction to the stairs so they aren’t as slippery. I have young kids that run up and down the stairs, so the tape prevents them from falling. It also helps my dog walk up and down the stairs! It has a sandpaper texture.
Marie Saenz says
Hi! We are planning on installing LVP throughout our lake house. I’ve seen online that LVP can show every little bit of dust, dirt, shoe prints, dog prints, etc. With all the dirt out at the lake, I am very nervous about this. Analyzing various samples, this issue seems to vary from brand to brand and color to color and has to do with how the light hits the flooring. I’ve heard of people mopping everyday and feeling like their flooring never looks clean. I this is mainly an issue with darker colors. Does At Ease hide dirt well? do you have to clean it quite often? When you look at it from an angle and the light is shining on it, do you see foot prints? I am so stressed about choosing a floor— any advice regarding this would be greatly appreciated! Your house looks amazing! 🙂
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! I think At Ease hides dirt well. I have two kids and a dog, so they get dirty quickly, and I probably feel the need to mop every other week. I think the “wood like” texture of the planks helps hide the foot prints. Darker floors definitely show dirt more. Hope that helps!
Jessica Irving says
Hi! I just found this review and I’m curious about LVP.
We want to install it and we are also getting a new kitchen install.
My main concern is since it can’t be installed under the cabinets how did you get it to look like your cabinets are sitting right on the flooring without using quarter round?
Thanks for any insight you might have!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! We did install it under our cabinets, and have had no issues with that.
Betty Chicca says
Hi.
I’m planning to use (at ease) in our lake house
we get Southern exposure
I was wondering what paint color you used on walls and cabinets. I love everything about your room••
just lovely!!!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! Our front Living Room window is southern exposure too. Our paint color is Sherwin Williams Alabaster. The kitchen cabinets are a slightly darker off white. All of the details are in this post! https://sprucingupmamahood.com/1970s-kitchen-remodel-before-and-after/
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Courtney says
Are you still happy with your flooring? We are considering “At Ease” but we feel a little torn because they aren’t a SPC product. They are 100% vinyl and I’m worried about durability and denting. Have you had any issues with denting? Thanks!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
We still love them! No issues with dents. My kids have scratched them in a couple of spots, but it isn’t noticeable at all, and they are very rough with their toys!
Kathy says
What are you using to protect the floors from furniture? Did you use felt pads on everything? We just installed the flooring and my husband insists we cover every piece of furniture we have. He’s worried it will leave a dent if we don’t. Thanks.
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
We do have small felt pads on the bottom of most of our furniture, but I don’t think I would worry about the floors denting.
Rebecca says
I’m wondering how to transition the floor to the tile in the bathrooms. Any ideas?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! They sell different trim pieces that match the flooring. We used the Reducer trim piece if the tile floor was slightly higher than the Provenza floor. Or there is a T-Molding piece if the floors are the same height but you want to transition to a different material. Hope that helps!
Marissa says
Your house is beautiful! I think that you have single-handedly increased the sales of At Ease for Provenza! Curious – we are looking at this product for our basement. We are interested in a light bright look as there won’t be as much light as upstairs. We are hoping for a white oak look and like how At Ease isn’t too yellow or gray. Do you think you would choose this in a room with less windows or would it feel too dark? If you have it in an area without windows, would you mind sharing pictures? Lastly- is it still holding up in high traffic areas? Thanks!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Thank you so much for the kind words! Yes I think it would work very well in a darker room! We have it in our upstairs hallway area where there isn’t much natural light and it doesn’t feel too dark at all. And yes it has held up perfectly and we have had it for about 2 years now!
Julie says
I have the “At Ease” sample here at my house and I’m comparing it with your on-line pictures…it’s so much darker! I wish they had photos of their products in actual rooms, I think they would sell better.
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Some planks are darker than others, so maybe you have a darker piece? It was definitely helpful for me to borrow a large sample from a flooring showroom to see all the contrast between the boards.
Eileen says
Hi- I am considering Provenza LVP, but I’ve read some reviews that it does not wear well. Did you get to talk to anyone who’d had the flooring longer than just a couple of years?
How is yours wearing?
Also, I understand you DO need to have very specific felt pads under it and can not put down any rugs that have a rubber backing or the warranty will be invalid. I really like the company I am looking at to install it, but am apprehensive about this flooring.
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
I did a lot of research before deciding but didn’t really find anyone that had it for longer than a couple of years. Ours have held up really well so far. Also I do have a few rugs that you are technically not supposed to put down on it (from Ruggable) and they haven’t damaged or changed the color of the floor.
Janice says
Hi. So beautiful. Did you remove all your baseboards so you did t have to use quarter round?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi, thank you! Yes we replaced all of the baseboards after installing the flooring.
Janic Lacerna says
Hi, We are considering Provenza, but have heard a lot of people saying it crackles or squeaks many in spots. Do yours do that?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
No we haven’t had that issue at all! I think if it is making noise that would more likely be an issue with the subfloor, not the flooring?
Jance says
Have any of your planks separated? Thanks!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
No, we haven’t had any issues!
Carrie says
Hi! Firstly your home is absolutely beautiful! So glad I found your site as I am considering Provenza’s At Ease. Do you have any regrets? If Road Trip has been available would you have gone with that? I am worried about too many stripes but Road Trip looks a bit yellow to me and not as real. Curious your thoughts. Thanks!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Oh thank you so much!! No regrets at all still! We’ve had them for a little over two years. Yes my plan was to order Road Trip and I only switched to At Ease because Road Trip was out of stock at the time, but I think it was meant to be because I’m so happy with it! I love the realistic look and it has more contrast than Road Trip (which I think shows up even more in the photos than it does in real life). I also love how At Ease works with warmer tones and grey tones. Hope that helps!
Madelyne says
Hi, happy to have found this blog – going to check out more of your posts. We just put Provenza LVP in our house. What have you been cleaning your floors with? Did you stick with what you mentioned in this post? (Think it was vinegar, lemon EO etc) Also, how much vinegar do you use/what is your recipe? Do you think you could use Thieves cleaner on them? Thanks!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! Yes I still use a regular mop and a mixture of warm water, white vinegar and lemon oil! I think Thieves would work great as well. You mainly just want o avoid using a steam mop. I’d say I use about a 1/2 of vinegar per gallon of water, and add about 5-8 drops of essential oil.
Amanda Pamblanco says
Thank you so much for this detailed post! We ordered “Road Trip”. I know someone recently commented in November, but are you still liking them as far as durability?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Yes, we still love them!
Lori Miller says
Thank you so much for this post. I’m literally about to place my order today or tomorrow of Provenza “At Ease” for our entire main level in our new build (except the bathrooms), and I appreciate seeing all of your pictures and hearing your honest recommendation. I LOVE the large sample I’ve brought home from the flooring store (a couple of times), but it’s been hard to find many realistic pics of it already installed in someone’s house, so seeing yours is very helpful. I was comparing it to the highest grade of Coretech, which had a 30 mil layer, vs the 20 mil layer of the Provenza, and my husband wanted the thicker mil layer … however, this one was more beautiful and realistic in person, in my opinion.
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Thank you! We really love it!
Katie T's Home says
Hey there! I LOVE your floors! Absolutely gorgeous! I would like to do something similar in the house I am building. I’m interested in going the route of radiant heated floors, and from my research the thinner the flooring material, the better. You mentioned that the new LVP is thicker than the old vinyl flooring. Is the new LVP still relatively thin in comparison to hardwood and laminate?
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! Thank you! Yes the LVP is still thinner than hardwood or laminate floors. There is more info on this spec sheet – chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/https://www.provenzafloors.com/docs/waterproof/ProvenzaMaxCore-ESPCGuide-ContainerInsert_2018.pdf

Great thanks!!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
you’re welcome!
Shawna messick says
I installed these floors in my home end of 2020. Are your planks with the beveled edge design? Mine our and I hate them. No matter what I do ( vacuum , dust mop and mop with o ceder and dry with a towel after) there is gunk that will be trapped in between the cracks and I have to physically wipe each individual one and it’s gross. I vaccine my floors daily sometimes twice a day. I have three dogs.
I have so many different vaccine and robots and mops it’s insane. And I really think it was a product design failure . We have fine dirt in arizona and it can get trapped in the cracks because unless you vacuum each crack you can’t get it all out. Well even then it doesn’t matter. I cant wait to rip them
Out but can’t afford to replace because we did 2,000 sq fr in it and paid almost 6 dollars a sq ft and that was before install. I’d rather have painted concrete .
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Oh no I’m sorry to hear that! We haven’t had that issue at all! Maybe they weren’t installed correctly (too large of a gap in between planks)??
Debbie says
I love these floors!! I am a little apprehensive after reading some unfavorable reviews and hearing their customer service is nonexistant. have you had any issues at all? Have you needed to contact customer service? Please let me know. Thanks!!!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
We love them!! I haven’t had to contact customer service about them but they were great while I was ordering.
Chrissy says
Hello!
We are about to put our Provenza LVP on the stairs and I had a question abo it which stair nose to order since they offer 2 different kinds…it looks like you said you ordered the flush one? Does it click into the flooring? Thanks!
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Yes! Just responded to your DM on Instagram!
Carol Schiefer says
I’ve begun researching LVP for the home we are building. Your detailed review of Provenza is very helpful. What width are the planks? I prefer a wider plank. Thanks!
Pamela Jones says
Hi, your home is beautiful and I am putting in the same flooring in about 3 weeks. My question is regarding the island. I love the color you chose which you said was draught and what I need to know is what wood is your cabinet made of? I am looking at oak and alder and the stains are very different on different woods. I want it to look just like yours. Thank you, Pam
Sprucing Up Mamahood says
Hi! The wood type at the island is White Oak. Hope that helps!
