Happy Friday! We’ve officially been stuck at home for four weeks today! Four weeks ago was Griffin’s last day of preschool. It makes me so sad that he won’t be able to go back this year! I really can’t believe that this has only been going on for four weeks, haha! I feel like its been 3 months! We really haven’t been able to get a ton of extra chores done, because watching our two toddlers is a full time job! But, I know that a lot of people are working on home projects right now, so I wanted to share a few of my favorite paint colors to help you out!
Favorite Paint Colors Used in Our Home:
Our walls were painted gray by the builders, but I really like the color that they chose – Sherwin Williams Worldly Gray. It is more of a warm, taupe grey so it doesn’t feel too cold.
I also love this black color that we used to paint our stair railings – Benjamin Moore Black Beauty. It is like a very dark charcoal gray, so I like that it is a little bit softer than a typical black. The white that we used at the shiplap, and the trim throughout the house is Sherwin Williams Origami White. It leans a little more taupe/gray and works well with the gray walls.
I have always wanted to design a baby girl’s nursery, but ended up having two boys, haha. So, I decided to make our Master Bedroom a little bit more feminine since it is the only room in the house I can get away with having a pink wall. I love the pink color that I chose – Behr Retro Pink. It is a dusty rose color and not too bright or bubblegum pink.
When we first moved in we painted a navy accent wall in the Kitchen because it felt a little boring in there. And the grey backsplash blended too much with the gray walls. I love the navy color that we chose; its dark and not too blue, so it works more like a dark neutral – Benjamin Moore Hale Navy.
I hope you all have a great Easter weekend! Kaylee put together a beautiful Easter Tablescape this week with items that she already had at home – check it out if you are looking for some inspo!
