Our Kitchen remodel is nearing the end and I am so excited to start cooking in there soon! The cabinets are in, floors are in, most appliances are installed, and the countertops are being installed today! I am so happy with how everything is looking! I love the finishes of the cabinets so much – the creamy white color at the perimeter works so well with the white oak finish at the island. It is definitely my dream kitchen and I feel so lucky to have been able to design it! I have a few things left to pick out for the Kitchen. Mainly, the backsplash tile, the cabinet hardware, and the Kitchen Island Pendant Lights.
There are so many great options for Kitchen Island Pendant Lights and I have had such a hard time deciding which direction I want to go! The two main looks I am trying to decide between are rattan style shades and milk glass shades. I love the look of the rattan shades but they are pretty trendy right now. So I am concerned they will go out of style in a couple of years. However, pendants are very easy to switch out so if I decide I’m tired of them they would be simple to replace. I love the classic look of the milk glass pendants and think they would give off a nice glow at night as well! One thing that helps is that we will have a pendant/chandelier over the dining table. So, I could have a rattan shade fixture there if I don’t go that direction for the Kitchen Island.
Anyway, I’ve put together a round up of Kitchen Island Pendant Options to try to narrow down my choices! And hopefully help you all on your hunt for lighting as well!
